Mr. Marvin Foster Ange, 78, of Plymouth, died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Washington County Hospital, Plymouth.
Born April 5, 1930 in Martin County, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Oresa Ange and was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda Lynn Ange and brother, Cyril C. Ange. Mr. Ange was a retired farmer and land surveyor, a past master of Perseverance Lodge No. 59 and member of Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church.
His family includes his wife, Gertrude Daniels Ange of Plymouth, N.C.; daughter, Kim A. Styons and husband Phil of Plymouth, N.C.; sons, S. Kent Ange of Robersonville, N.C., Gary L. Ange and wife Sandra, Terry W. Ange and wife Renee and Jerry L. Ange, all of Plymouth, N.C.; sister, Elouise A. Respass of Plymouth, N.C.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service with full Masonic rites will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Ange Family Cemetery with Robert Travis and Bob Moulden officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2009 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth.
