Mrs. Ona B. Forslund, 84, of Aurora, Ill. died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at home.
A funeral was conducted Feb. 25, 2009, in The Healy Chapel, Aurora, Ill., with the Rev. Juancho Companano officiating. Burial followed in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mrs. Forslund was born in Bath on July 12, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Elizabeth Braddy. She was married to Robert Forslund, who preceded her in death. She worked for the Aurora, Ill., police department for 16 years and later worked with McEnroe Real Estate and Dreyer Medical Clinic. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four children, Charles “Chuck” Forslund, Susan Kellett, Judy Hunter and Robert Forslund Jr.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Geneva Morgan of Washington.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard “Dick” Forslund, in 2007, five brothers and one sister.
