Mrs. Mary “Annalene” Heath Lilley

Mrs. Annalene Heath Lilley, age 84, a resident of 1705 West 5th Street, Washington, NC died Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2009 at Britthaven.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2009 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington, conducted by Pastor Thomas Lee. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
The following will serve as pallbearers: David Rowe, Jr., Darrell Clark, Jr., Greg Rowe, Mike Rowe, Ryan Rowe, and Ricky Clark.
Mrs. Lilley was born in Pamlico County on February 14, 1925, daughter of the late Guion Smith Ensley and Manila Rae Cayton Ensley. She attended the Pamlico County schools. She married William Earl Heath, Sr. who preceded her in death on June 12, 1973. She later married John Stancil Lilley on January 15, 1989 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1991. Mrs. Lilley was employed as manager of King Chicken until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of 15th Street Church of God.
She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Heath Clark of Vanceboro, Linda Heath Taylor and her husband, Lonnie of Chocowinity, Carolyn Heath Rowe and her husband, David of Washington; her brother, Guyan Ensley and his wife, Jill of Oriental; her sisters, Evelyn Beeman and her husband, John and Clara Ensley, both of Arapahoe; her stepsons: H. Rayford Lilley and his wife, Lee and D. Granville Lilley and his wife, Anna, both of Washington; her daughter-in-law: Sylvia Heath of New Bern; her brother-in-law: Vincent Terranova of Port Rickey, FL; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, William Earl Heath, Jr. and her sisters, Bessie Pittman and Martha Terranova.
The family will receive friends 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Friday, February 27, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home, 1705 W. Fifth Street, Washington.
