Grace Sanford, 91, of Raleigh died Monday, March 2, 2009, at her home.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Cremation Society of the Carolinas in Raleigh. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Hillside Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanford was a medical clerk at Pender Memorial Hospital for 25 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Lina Lee of Raleigh; brother, Frank M. McDaniel Jr. of Carolina Beach, a granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Nolan Sanford; her parents, Frances M. and Lilly; brothers, Carl and Floyd; sister, Isabelle, and grandson, Nolan Lee.
