TARBORO — Daphne Williamson Tew, 92, died Thursday.
Funeral service will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home with President Jimmy King, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Mrs. Tew was preceded in death by her husband Talmon R. Tew and brother, Hubert Willamson.
Surviving are daughter, Mary Eleanor Brewer and husband Kenneth, Tarboro; sons, Carlton Tew and wife Ethel Braddy Tew, Chester, Va., Grant Tew and wife Dianna, Washington, NC; sister, Leatrice Pulley, Tarboro; brothers, Ralph Williamson and Melvin Williamson, both of Tarboro; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchilden.
The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and other times at the home of Kenneth &Mary Eleanor Brewer, 1601 Canterbury Rd., Tarboro.
