Jamesville — Glenda Brown, 65, of Jamesville, died March 7, 2009.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Branch Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brown was born on June 24, 1943 in Edgecombe County. She was the daughter of the late Lawson and Elerine Overstreet. She was a member of the Cedar Branch Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Durward Carl Brown Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Rene’ Brown Perry of Tarboro; one sister, Judy Bottoms of Tarboro; two brothers, P.L. and Jimmy Overstreet, both of Tarboro; two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Cedar Branch Baptist Church, and at other times at Rene’ Perry’s home.
