Mr. Horace B. Walton, 87, of Colerain, died Saturday, March 7, 2009.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in the Annie Baker cemetery in Colerain.
Mr. Walton was born in San Diego, Calif., on Oct. 12, 1921. He was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Walton. He graduated from Old Dominion College. He was a retired Navy Lt. Commander and a Navy pilot. He was a member of Broadstreet Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Byrd Walton; one daughter, Lynn Caddy of Maryland; two sons, William Walton of West Virginia and Timothy R. Walton of Virginia; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
