… because it’s the first day of spring

Yep, today’s the first day of spring.
Doesn’t feel like it, you say?
That’s probably because you awoke to 33-degree temperatures and clouds — at least that’s what AccuWeather had predicted for this morning.
Thursday, though — now that was a spring day: sun, 72 degrees, and people in Washington outside enjoying the warmth.
But don’t fret: Your toes will thaw a bit as we head through the weekend and into next week. Temperatures should hit 56 degrees Saturday — four degrees higher than today was supposed to be — 60 degrees Sunday and 63 degrees Monday.
According to AccuWeather, no rain is expected through Monday, though you’ll see periodic clouds.
So spring into spring today: Enjoy the flowers peeking up everywhere, and urge those shy tree buds to quickly unfurl their magic.
