Mr. Edward Lewton Braddy Smith, 83, of Dillon, S.C., died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008.
Mr. Smith was born in Washington on Feb. 28, 1925. He was the son of the late Tillie Estelle Braddy Smith and Clifford E. Smith.
He was an actor and appeared in many plays including “The Lost Colony” in Manteo.
He was co-owner of Pampered Pet, a former member of the Dillon County Historical Society and a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Joanne Smith Tilling of Virginia Beach, Va., and one brother, C. Anthony Smith of Virginia Beach, Va.
