Mrs. Fannie Earl Wainwright Toler, age 69, a former resident of 149 Maules Point Rd., Blounts Creek, NC, died Friday, March, 20, 2009 at Ridgewood Manor of Washington.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Toler Family Cemetery in Blounts Creek and will be conducted by Rev. Ashley Trogdon.
Mrs. Toler was born in Beaufort County on October 26, 1939 to the late Floyd Earl Wainwright and Fannie Mae Tetterton Wainwright who survives. On December 26, 1956 she married Glenn (Bill) A. Toler who preceded her in death on July 4, 2004. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, baking and especially baking pecan pies and she was a member of Smyrna Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Sarah T. Wallace and husband Jimmy of Pinetown, Reba Mae Tippett and husband Lloyd of Edward, her granddaughters, Tracie Asby and husband Eric of Pinetown, Olivia Wallace of Pinetown, her grandsons Joshua and Daniel Tippett of Edward, her great granddaughters, Natalie and Corabeth Asby of Pinetown, her brothers, Billy Jack Wainwright of Grimesland, Glenn Wainwright of Grimesland, Henry Wainwright of Washington and her sister, Linda Faye Alligood. She was preceded in death by two brothers, infant Bobby Ray Wainwright, Jesse (Buddy) Wainwright on August 16, 2007 and her sister, Elizabeth “Sissy” Grissom July 4, 2007.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home of her daughter, Sarah Wallace, 444 Main St., Pinetown, NC 27865.
