Matthew “Cookie” Bell, 49, of 107 Nichols Ct., Plymouth, died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at home.
A funeral will be held 12 noon Friday, April 10, 2009, at Victory Christian Fellowship with Dr. Avis Hammond, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Toodle’s Cemetery.
Mr. Bell was born on May 6, 1959 in Washington County. He was the son of Elizabeth Patrick Bell and the late Obediah George Bell. He was a cement finisher and an employee of Toodle’s Funeral Home.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth P. Bell of the home; seven brothers, Leonard Bell, Plymouth, George Bell, Plymouth, Willie Bell, Virginia Beach, Va., James Bell, Greenville, Wade Bell, Plymouth, Elijah Bell, Concord, William Brown, Baltimore; two sisters, Dora Bell, Plymouth and Lois Bell-Jones, Plymouth.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Toodle’s Funeral Home and other times at the home.
