Mrs. Estella McCormick Ford, 57, of 409 E. Main St., Plymouth died Thursday, Apr. 9, 2009 at home.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 14 2009 at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ with Elder Mildren Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Toodle’s cemetery.
Mrs. Ford was born on July 8, 1951 in Washington County. She was the daughter of Lettie Swain and John Henry McCormick. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Washington County Schools.
Survivors include her husband: Sammy Ford of the home; Kimoria Ford, Plymouth; mother: Lettie Pittman, Plymouth; four brothers: Andre McCormick, Baltimore, Rodney McCormick, Baltimore, Roy Pittman, Plymouth, Mike Pittman, Atlantic City; seven sisters: Brenda Pittman, Mabel Hedgebeth, Ruth Pittman all of Plymouth, Wanda Pittman, Carolyn Tugglesboth of Raleigh, Gloria Pittman, Norfolk, Delores Pittman, Vanceboro and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at Pentecostal Temple and other times at the home.
