Mr. Stephen Jackson “Jack” Hewitt, age 72, a resident of 78 Riverside Campground Road in Belhaven died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Cross Creek Health Care Center.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday April 20, 2009 at Riverside Campground and will be conducted by Keith Hamm.
He was born in Jacksonville, N.C. son of the late Stephen Hewitt and Effie Lee Kellum Hewitt. Stephen was a retired foreman for Weyerhaeuser.
He is survived by his sister Louise Humphrey and his sister-in-law Mary Hewitt both of Jacksonville, several nieces and nephews and a good friend Jaime Daniels of Belhaven.
The family will receive friends after the service.
