Mr. Bobby Ray Webb, age 55, of 10660 Highway 17, Williamston, NC passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Macedonia Christian Church with Greg Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. James Clemmons, Michael Coffield, William Foster, Brock Harrison, Michael Leggett and Bernice Tyson will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington, NC.
Mr. Webb was born March 18, 1954 in Beaufort County to Frank McKinley and Hazel Marie Snider Webb. He has lived in Martin County for the past thirty years. On August 1, 1978 Bobby was married to June Leggett. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Webb was a farmer and also worked in the sawmill business.
Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his father in December 1981.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Webb Manning and husband Danny of Williamston, and Carolyn and Tonya Webb; two brothers, Eugene Webb of Bertie County and Donald Webb of Johnston County; three sisters, Linda Meheffy of PA, Gayle Osbourn of NM, and Janice Johnson of Bertie County; and four grandchildren, Cody Webb, Brittany Webb, Brooke Manning and Hailyn Manning.
