Mr. Steven Wayne Keech, age 38, a resident of 153 Keech Lane, Bath, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Pungo District Hospital.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Keech Family Cemetery, 153 Keech Lane, Bath with Minister Jon Langley officiating.
Mr. Keech was born March 19, 1971 in Newport News, VA to George Wade and Lillian Faye Keech. Steven was a carpenter and worked in the construction business. His greatest passion in life was his family and friends. He enjoyed helping coach the Belhaven Warriors, a youth league football team.
Mr. Keech is survived by one daughter, Stephanie LeAnne Keech; one son, Seth Michael Keech; one sister, Sharon K. Howery and husband Jody of Pantego; three brothers, George C. Keech, Ronnie L. Keech, and Michael Keech and fiancée Joy Brantley all of Bath; and eight nieces and nephews.
