Jacksonville — Claude “Mac” Willington McDaniel, 89, died on Friday June 19, 2009.
He is preceded in death by his parents James W. and Sarah L. McDaniel and his wife, Eloise McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel was a member of Semper Fidelis Lodge No. 680 A.F. &A.M.
He is survived by his daughter, Betty Jo Ebe of Blounts Creek, granddaughter, Tami Stoafer of Clayton, grandson, Paul Woodall of Norfolk, VA, sister, Carolyn Jones of Estes Park, Co and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 3009 at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, NC at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends, Monday night June 22, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Navy/Marine Relief Society, 400 McHugh Blvd., Camp Lejeune, NC 28547.
