Ms. Cora V. Davenport, 73, of 4438 N.C. Highway 32 North, Plymouth, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
