Julia Etta (Wallace) Woolard

Julia Etta (Wallace) Woolard, 83, of Kingwood, WV, was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Heartland of Preston County.
Julia was born December 7, 1925, in Washington, NC, a daughter to the late Lemuel and Lollie Ellsworth (Whitaker) Wallace.
Following her graduation from Bath High School, she continued her education, receiving her beautician certification and real estate license. She was a member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church in Kingwood and former member of New Port Richey Baptist Church in New Port Richey, FL where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Julia was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, TAHUTI Court # 44, where she served as High Priestess from 2002-2003 in St. Petersburg, FL and was very active with all functions to help the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. Julia was an avid card player, actively playing pinochle.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy W. Cox of Kingwood; one grandson, Robert F. Cox III of Clarksburg; her beloved dog “BB”.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lewis F. Woolard, May 20, 2003; two sons, Lewis F. Woolard Jr., Wayland Keith Woolard; one daughter, Ester Annette Moran; one grandson, Jonathan A. Moran; one brother, Harley E. Wallace; one sister, Charlotte Sutton.
Family and friends may call at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home-Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Argabrite officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Kingwood.
