Mr. Walter Lee “Happy” Cooper, 78, of 13914 U.S. Highway 264, Swan Quarter, died Monday, June 29, 2009. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Saint Mary Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). A walk-in visitation will be held today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
