Mrs. Carmella Ensalaco Hollis, age 83, a resident of 79 Hollis Drive, Blounts Creek, NC died Tuesday July 28, 2009 at her home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Hollis was born in Cook County, Illinois on November 16, 1925 daughter of the late Angelo and Lily Spoto Ensalaco. She was a homemaker and an avid quilter who was a member of the Pamlico River Quilters Guild.
Surviving along with her husband Fred of the home are two daughters: Debra H. Hardee and Judy Hollis both of Blounts Creek; two granddaughters: Shellie Ingalls and Hollie Jones and two great grandchildren: Hannah E. Jones and Nathan R. Cutler.
The family will receive friends at the home.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made to Saturday Night Jamboree, C/O Marlene Sprouse, 410 Northwood Road, Washington, NC 27889.
