Mrs. Martha Atha Roberson Gurganus, 84, of 1005 Pinecrest St., Williamston, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at her home. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Maple Grove Christian Church, Jamesville, with the Rev. Jay Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Hardison Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
