Mr. Kenneth Ray Whitehurst, 70, of 1160 Dail Loop Road, Tarboro, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009, at home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Walker’s Ayres Chapel in Bethel and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
