The season didn’t get off to a good start for the Northside Panthers, as they fell 48-12 to the Creswell Tigers in Friday’s season opener.

Coach Asim McGill’s team racked up 462 yards of offense, including 344 on the ground. Cedric Moody ran for 153 yards on 13 carries. Moody, who ran for a 57-yard TD, also threw a 43-yard TD pass to Jermaine McGee. McGee added a 24-yard touchdown run.

Kevin Purkett completed 5 of 8 passes and had a 31-yard touchdown toss to Azaam Gross. Dylan Watts added 94 yards on the ground.
