Mr. Theodore Roosevelt Chesson Sr., 83, a resident of 302 Station St., Roper, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, in Plymouth. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Roper, with Elder Benny Mackey, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesson family cemetery. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
