Mrs. Hattie Cobb “Bunch” Watson

Mrs. Hattie C. Watson of 302 Village Circle, Washington, N.C. died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Viewing will be held at 11 a.m. and funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Refuge Towers Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. John B. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Whootentown Cemetery. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Ministry.
Mrs. Watson was born February 22, 1937 to the late Palmer and Martha Cobb. She graduated from P.S. Jones High School and studied Cosmetology and worked in that field for a few years. She was employed at the American Red Cross with the Davie County Chapter for a number of years. She also worked as a Home Health Care Giver. She was married to Eddie Watson who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sisters, Alice Moses of Chester, Pennsylvania, Dr. Ethel Abrims of Randallstown, Maryland, and Martha Cobb of Waycross, Georgia; one brother, Deacon Benjamin A. Cobb of Norfolk, Virginia; a goddaughter, Charlotte James of Miami, Florida; and a special friend and caregiver, Angela Barrow of Washington, N.C.
Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 West Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Washington.
