Mrs. Ethel Rogers Linton, age 86, a resident of 112 Hillcrest Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009 at First Baptist Church and will be conducted by Dr. Jimmy Moore. The internment service at graveside will be private. The family requests privacy at their home following the service.
Survivors include her husband, John T. Linton of the home; her son, Bruce Linton of Black Mountain; her daughter, Anne Linton Cobb of Wilmington; two grandsons, Allen Cobb III and his wife Emily of Raleigh and Brad Linton of Asheville.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Beaufort County Hospital Foundation, c/o Lights of Love Annual Fund, 628 E. 12th St. Washington, NC 27889.
