CHOCOWINITY — Mr. Floyd A. Wainwright, Sr., 68, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Wainwright, a native of Pitt County, spent most of his life in Beaufort County.
He is survived by his: wife of 41 years, Etta Marie Sawyer Wainwright; son, Thomas Allen Wainwright, of the home, Floyd Allen Wainwright, Jr. and Billy Wainwright, both of Chocowinity; daughters, Teresa Lynn Wainwright, of Chocowinity, and Michelle Pritchett, of Farmville; step-son, Ricky Glover, of Eufaula, AL; step-daughter, Mary Norman, Tipton, GA; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Henderson, of Smithfield, VA; and brothers, Frank Wainwright, Morehead, MN, and Pete Wainwright, of Chocowinity.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
