Mr. James Mac Dail, age 79, a resident of 109 Northwood Rd. Washington, died Thursday, January 14, 2010.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 18, 2010, 2 p.m., at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and will be conducted by Father Nicholas Ibarra. Burial will follow in Yeatesville Cemetery.
Mr. Dail was born in Wilson County on August 16, 1930 to the late Roy Lee Dail, Sr. and Mabel Hill Dail. He was a graduate of Granger High School in Kinston and attended the Kings Business College of Greensboro. He was employed with Carolina Leaf Tobacco Co. of Greenville and Dibrell Brothers Inc. of Danville, Virginia for 37 years.
Survivors include his wife, Martha C. Dail of the home; three daughters, Nancy Winn Dail Joy of Greenville, Michelle B. Gregory and husband Thomas of Guntersville, AL, Marie B. Peele and husband Todd of Greenville; two sons, James M. Dail, Jr. and wife Kathy of Snow Hill, Thomas W. Dail and wife Jennifer of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Lee Dail, Jr., and one sister, Inez Dail O’Neal and one great nephew Robbie Dail.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
