Mrs. Rosa Lee Boston Keyes, 88, of 2744 Free Union Rd., Jamesville died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston officiating. Burial will follow in Uniontown cemetery.
Mrs. Keyes was born on Jan. 31, 1921 in Martin County. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Albert Staton Boston, Sr. She was a member of Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and a homemaker. Her husband, William Joseph Keyes, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons: Sherman Keyes, William Keyes both of Jamesville, George Donnell Keyes, Plymouth, Teddy Jerome Keyes, Williamston; three daughters: Alice Whitley, Ella Charlene Brickhouse, both of Jamesville, Fannie Hines, Roper; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Uniontown Church and other times at the home.
