Mrs. Geraldine Pierce Jernigan, 78, of 130 W. Askewville St., Windsor died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at University Health Systems Hospice in Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Askewville Assembly of God with the Revs. R.O. Denton Jr. and R.O. Denton Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor and other times at the home of Bettie Harrell, 109 Askewville-Phelps St., Windsor. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
