Pam Pack netters sweep Rams|Swanner wins another tiebreaker

Jeff Swanner won his third tiebreaker of the season, helping the Washington Pam Pack stay undefeated on the young season. The Pam Pack completed a 9-0 sweep of the Havelock Rams in Tuesday’s Coastal Conference tennis action.
Washington (3-0) fought off two matches in tiebreaks and had to come from behind at No. 1 doubles, but held strong and completed the sweep.
Swanner won his match 4-6, 6-4 (12-10) over Jun Anderson at No. 4 singles.
Ryan Vick had an easy time at No. 1 singles, taking down Jay Diep 6-1, 6-1. Jacob Elks also won in straight sets at No. 2 singles with a 6-1, 6-4 nod over Chris Angelo. Brandon Washington cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Daniel Chang at No. 3 singles.
Luke Harris held off Cole Joplin 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) at No. 5 singles. Freshman Ricky Lisenby, playing in his first official high school match, coasted to a 6-1, 6-1 nod over David Layne at No. 6 singles.
The Pack plays at White Oak on Thursday.
