Mr. Hubert Lee Gibbs Sr., 78, a resident of Britthaven of Washington and formerly of Chocowinity, died Monday, March 22, 2010, at Britthaven. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church. A walk-in viewing will be held today from 1 to 6 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington. The family will receive friends at the home, 4826 Old Blounts Creek Road, Chocowinity. Arrangements are by Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
