VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. — Harvey B. Mann, Jr. passed away March 30, 2010 at the age of 79.
Born in Raleigh, N.C., the son of the late Harvey B. Mann, Sr. and Margaret Emma Mann of Engelhard, N.C., Harvey retired as Vice President after 25 years with Bank of America. He was a past president of the Virginia Beach Rotary Club and a Harris Fellow. He graduated NC State in 1952 and received an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1954.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Florence P. Mann, his daughters, Laura Mann Johnson and Virginia (Ginger) Mann, and his grandsons Kyle and Chandler Johnson, and Paul Rymsza.
A service celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, April 7th at 2 p.m. at Eastern Shore Chapel, 2020 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Greenbrier Tower II, Suite 404, Norfolk, VA 23320.
Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family.
