Mrs. Ella Mae Whichard, 83, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Williamston with the Revs. Roger Leggett and Bruce Avery officiating. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Williamston and other times at the home of her granddaughter, Cheryl House, 7518 Main St., Bethel. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
