Area stars on all-state softball squad|Pack, Panthers, Seahawks on team

Several area players are on the Region 1 state softball team this season.
The Washington Pam Pack, Northside Panthers and Southside Seahawks are all represented on the team. There also players from Williamston, Bear Grass, Jamesville and Columbia.
Washington outfielder/pitcher Morgan Bryant is the lone Pam Pack player on the team.
Four Northside players made the squad. Pitcher Lilyann Arnold, Britney Alligood, Jena Payne and Caroline Slade will be represented the Panthers.
Rebekah Langston and Sondra Sparks, a pair of Southside standouts, earned spots on the roster.
Also making the team were Taylor Johnson and Kimberly Mobley of Bear Grass, Jamesville’s Ashley Mobley and Columbia’s Savannah Westover.
The others on the team are Allison May (Edenton), Megan Mento (Camden) and Lauren Moran (Manteo).
