Mrs. Hazel Phelps Coleson, 93, of Creswell died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Britthaven Nursing Center in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Philippi Church of Christ, Creswell with Glenn Brickhouse, Larry Woodley and Dave Watts officiating. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell and other times at the home of her daughter, June Alexander of Edenton. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
