Ms. Nancy Marie Smith, age 50, a resident of 438 Stell Road, Bath, NC died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Autumnfield of Belhaven.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday May 29, 2010 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. David Linton. Jackie Skinner, Lee Stell, Larry McKeel, Sammy Smith, Brian Skinner and Johnny Dye will serve as pallbearers.
Ms. Smith was born on July 17, 1959 daughter of the late Major Mayhew Smith, Sr. and Thelma Ross Smith. She worked in office management for a number of years. Ms. Smith was a member of Bath Church of God.
Ms. Smith is survived by a daughter, Melissa Dawn McKeel and her husband Wade of Bath, NC, two brothers, Jackie L. Smith, Sr. and wife Kathy of Bath, NC and Major Mayhew Smith, Sr. and wife Jamie of New Bern, NC, and one granddaughter, Caelyn McKeel of Bath, NC.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ross Smith.
The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law located at 438 Stell Road, Bath, NC 27808.
