Mr. James “Jim” Alton Manning Jr., 52, of J.A. Manning Road, Bethel, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Smith officiating. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home Ayres Chapel, Bethel. A celebration of life service will be held this weekend. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
