Mr. Francis W. Jump

Mr. Francis William Jump, age 81, a resident of 202 Haven Way South, Washington, died Friday June 11, 2010 at his home.
Memorial services will be 5:00 pm Tuesday June 15, 2010 at the First Baptist Church and will be conducted by Dr. Jimmy Moore.
Mr. Jump was born in New Jersey on February 9, 1929 to the late Frank Guerney Jump and Ruth Wise Jump. On October 5, 1985 he married Dorothy White who survives. He was Vice President of the Willow Construction Company in Easton, Maryland where he retired in 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Washington, Washington Yacht and Country Club and was one of the founding members of the Waterfowl Guild.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy White Jump of the home; three sons, Will Jump and wife Joanie of Walnut Creek, California, Michael Jump and wife Jane of Pocomoke, Maryland, Hall Jump and wife Cindy of Cordova, Maryland; one step-son, Jeffrey Roberts and wife Robyn of Greensboro; two step-daughters, Carol Roberts Keech and husband Garry of Washington, Lisa Roberts Seffrin and husband Michael of Piedmont, South Carolina; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Jump was preceded in death by his twin brother, Frank Jump and his sister, Barbara Sayles.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm prior to the service at the First Baptist Church and other times at the home 202 Haven Way South, Washington, NC 27889.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 113 N. Harvey St., Washington, NC 27889.
