Mrs. Evelyne Burnett Harper, age 90, a resident of Nashville, NC died Monday July 19, 2010 at Autumn Care in Nashville, NC.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday July 23, 2010 at Rock Creek Baptist Church in Nashville, NC officiated by Dr. Blake Dempsey and Rev. David Pope. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. on Friday at Davis Cemetery.
Mrs. Harper was born in Norfolk, VA on November 5, 1919 daughter of the late Theodore Burnett and Ludy Manning Burnett. On June 21, 1941 she married J.M. Harper who preceded her in death in 1988. Mrs. Harper retired from Abbott Laboratories as a lab analyst. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandson: William A. “Tripp” Dozier, III of Nashville, NC.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter: Trina H. Dozier and her sister: Lilyan B. vonGehr.
