Robert “Robby” Linn Heverley

Robert L. Heverley, age 62, a resident of 78 Angus Drive, Washington, died Saturday, July 31, 2010. A memorial service will be held at Wares Chapel United Methodist Church in Washington on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 3 p.m., officiated by Pastor Joan Fisher. The family received friends at Hillside Funeral service on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Robby was born on December 27, 1947 in Walterboro, SC, son of the late George Linn and Senie Linder Heverley. He married Shirley Harding on September 1, 1972.
Robby graduated from Clemson University of SC in 1970 and as everyone knew, he was an avid Clemson fan. He worked for National Spinning for 27 years. After National Spinning, him and his son, Linn, started H&H Construction. Robby was passionate about this type of work and enjoyed pleasing others. Mr. Heverley was a member of Wares Chapel United Methodist Church in Washington and a member of the United Methodist Men at Wares.
Mr. Heverley is survived by his wife, Shirley Heverley; one daughter, Kelli Heverley of Winterville, NC; two sons, Linn Heverley of Greenville, NC and Alan Heverley of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Ann Ingram of Marietta, GA and Pattie Heverley of Charleston, SC; one niece, Jodi Hall and husband, Taylor of Hiram, GA; one nephew, Ricky Ingram of Charleston, SC; and a special cousin, Jimmy Nettles and his wife, Lynn of Walterboro, SC.
