Mr. Chester Emmett Mims, 80, of 1506 W. Main St., Williamston, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Susan Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
