Mrs. Estelle Baker Pierce, 86, of Peterson Church Road, Merry Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Chowan Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Merry Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Marcus Daly Jr. and Michael Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
