Ms. Beulah Alice Jordan Smith Latham, age 84, a resident of Richmond, Virginia, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Jordan Family Cemetery and will be conducted by Rev. Larry Ball. Bill Carawan, Randy Carawan, Earl Jordan, Leslie Jordan, Jr., and Gary Paz will serve as pallbearers.
Ms. Latham was born in Beaufort County on April 1, 1926 to the late John and Malissa Bell Jordan.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice Latham of Richmond, Virginia, Brenda Campbell and husband Greg of Williamsburg, Virginia; one son, Ed “Butch” Smith of Williams, Oregon; one grandson, Chris Gregory and wife Ginny of Aylett, Virginia and two sisters, Elna Carawan and husband Bill of Pinetown, Jane Harris and husband Mitchell of Washington. Ms. Latham was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Jordan, Leslie Jordan, Lewis Jordan and two sisters, Blanche Everett and Eloise Ball.
