Miss Emma Stanley, age 57, a resident of 22530 Hwy 32 N. Plymouth, NC, died Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.
A graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, NC officiated by Peggy Muhammad. Pallbearers will be Albert Stanley, Anthony Stanley, Lynn McCrary, Scott Brown, Tommy Barber and Frank Smith.
Miss Emma was born in Radford, VA on July 1, 1953, daughter of the late Belcher and Virginia Small Stanley.
Survivors include a sister: Marie Stanley of Plymouth, two brothers: Elvis and Tommy Stanley, both of Plymouth and nieces and nephews: Tommy Smith, Virginia Phelps, Ginger, Lisa, Albert, Anthony, Isaac and Brittany Stanley. Miss Emma was preceded in death by a brother: Albert Stanley and a nephew: Belcher Stanley Phelps.
The family will receive friends at the home of Miss Emma’s sister, Marie, located at 22530 Hwy. 32 N. Plymouth, NC.
