Mr. Jessie Willard Cooper, 93, of Columbia, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at Chowan Hospital, Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, with Thomas Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in the West family cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
