Sarah Craddock Johnson Credle, 81, of 2760 Lynnsburg Road, the Sladesville Community, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at her home.
Born in Beaufort County, December 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Cora Pegram Craddock. She was married to Mervis Credle who preceded her in death. She worked for many years in assembly for Hamilton Beach Company and previously operated her own restaurant at Rose Bay.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Sladesville Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Gary Saffell.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita Johnson of the home; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Craven of the home. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband were a son, Vince Johnson, two sisters, Cassie Ratcliff and Ruth Ratcliff and two brothers, Troy Craddock and William Craddock.
