Katherine Adams Duncan, age 56, died Monday, November 8, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. A lifelong resident of the Carolinas, Kathy was born in Washington, NC, to Lewis Jackson Adams and Katherine Swanner Adams.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duncan is survived by her husband, James David Duncan, Jr.; her son, James David Duncan III; two sisters, Rebecca Buck of Raleigh, NC and her sons, Trey and Bryan; and Ann Bryan Womble, her husband, Jim Womble of Marietta, Ga. and their two daughters, Katherine and Ashley.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
