Rosa Lee Mozingo Beverly, 91, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Sutton’s Retirement Center in Goldsboro. She was a loving mother, grandmama and great-grandmama. She was a retired cashier with Big Star Grocery of Kinston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Beverly.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Al Thompson officiating.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lee Thompson and husband, Len, of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; sisters, Ruth Barringer and husband, Wilbur, of Lakeland, Fla., Joyce Cutler of Washington, N.C.; grandchildren, Felisa Parker and husband, Richard, of Wendell, Gwen Wade and husband, Carroll, of Kinston, Shelvia Riggs and husband, Lee, of LaGrange; great-grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Harrison Parker, Joshua Wade, Jordan Parker, Cory Johnson and a special niece, Teri Andrews.
Garner Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
