Rev. Terry Lee Lewis, 57, of Aurora passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010.
He was a pastor for five years at Oriental Pentecostal Holiness Church and for 20 years at Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a member for over 25 years of the North Carolina Conference of the Pentecostal Churches.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Harold and Frances Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; one son, Jonathan Lewis of Aurora; one daughter, Denise Vilches and husband, Rodrigo, of Jonesville, N.C.; one brother, Rev. Phillip Lewis and wife, Tammy, of Edward; one sister, Sharon Rice and husband, James, of Lowland; and two grandchildren, Nicolas and Elena Vilches.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon, Rev. Phillip Lewis and Bishop Jimmy Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow in Paul Family Cemetery, Aurora.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday night at Bryant Funeral Home and at other times at the home, 153 Four Paws Road, Aurora.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3760 Lowland Road, Lowland, NC, 28552.
